“Netrajyothi Foundation”, the Charitable Trust of Karthik Netralaya was started to dedicate ‘its’ activities to promote the health and welfare of the people suffering from eye ailments of all kinds and prevention, diagnosis and treatment of such diseases.

As an Initiative of Corporate Social Responsibility, Netrajyothi Foundation was formed in 2000 and since then it has been relenting quality eye care services to the under privileged sections of the society.

With an objective of ‘Serving the Humanity’, the committed team of Karthik Netralaya made it possible to touch the lives of thousand’s of people by giving better vision or preventing the blindness as a whole.

We thank all our friends, our donors who apart from helping through contribution gave us the ‘Happiness and Satisfaction’, which drive us for doing this noble job!!

Activities:

Netrajyothi Foundation has constantly been engaged in rendering its services to the needy. It conducts several free eye camps and optical dispensing camps in rural and urban Bangalore and its surroundings. It also provides ‘gift sight coupons’ for the economically weaker section of the society so that they can avail a free consultation.

Regular camps are conducted in schools for the benefit of children to bring in awareness and prevention of early eye disorders in them. They are counseled along with the parents about the various eye syndromes and best that can be done to restrain them.

Entire range of eye surgeries are performed either free, or partially, where in the patient provides the minimum possible amount, and the rest of which is contributed by our fund. Patients avail the highest standard of services in an ultra modern set-up with the assistance of our friendly and helpful staff.

It conducts various ‘Public Awareness programs’ to educate the society about various eye disorders and their preventive measures. There are also free brochures available on different diseases to spread across the awareness and preventive measures.
